MONTROSE — A drug bust uncovered not only alleged methamphetamine, but several firearms, the Delta/Montrose Drug Task Force reported.

Miriam Oulette was taken into custody March 8 on suspicion of drug offenses after task force agents and officers from other law enforcement agencies serving search warrants found suspected methamphetamine in her converted bus/RV. Officers also found suspected meth in a camper shell belonging to another individual.

In all, authorities seized 11 to 12 grams of meth from the vehicles that were searched. Agent Jack Haynes said evidence of drug dealing, and weapons, were also discovered.

“We also found several handguns, long guns and a couple we think are illegal guns,” he said. The task force additionally seized several swords, knives and martial arts weapons.

As of Monday, agents were seeking two men in connection with the raid.

Walter Spor, born in 1963, is wanted on a warrant for possession of drugs, possession with intent to distribute drugs, possession of a weapon by a previous offender and possession of an illegal weapon. Thomas Carr, born in 1958, is sought on a warrant for drug possession, possession with intent to distribute, possession of a weapon by a previous offender and having a defaced weapon (serial numbers filed off).

Anyone who sees the two men should contact the nearest law enforcement agency.
