LINCOLN, Neb. — Marybeth (Hall) Geier, 87, of Lincoln, Neb., passed away Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2007. She was born to Fred and Blanche (Hostetler) Hall on Nov. 14, 1919 in Lincoln. Marybeth spent most of her life in Lincoln. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and Choir. Marybeth was an avid Husker and Chuck Norris fan, writer, dancer and awesome cook. She was loved by all who knew her.

Survivors include: sister and brother-in-law, Virginia and Dick Walters, Roswell, N.M.; daughters and sons-in-law, Karis Loos, Julia Geier, Jacque and Michael Carter, Terri Geier-Brindell and Harvey Brindell; grandchildren and spouses, Jennifer Loos and Fee Hafiz, Sara and Jake Drueke, Emily and Jonah Johnsen, Jeremy Geier, Jake Craft and Kathy Geier-Craft, Vanessa and Rich Butters, Jobi Carter, Alec and Betiana Brindell, Leanne and Cles Kent, Aaron Brindell; great-grandchildren, Lauren, Savannah, Paris, Olivia, Isabella, Autumn, Jacob, Jamie, Austin, Preston, Jeremy, Emily.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jake Geier.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 26, 2007 at Lincoln Memorial Park, 6700 S. 14th Street. Cremation has taken place, no viewing or visitation.

A reception to celebrate the life of Marybeth will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 28, 2007 at The Legacy, 5600 Pioneers Blvd. Flowers may be sent to this location.
