MONTROSE — Rick Gaffney, also known as Rickster, was born on May 13, 1968 in Fargo, N.D. He resided in Moorhead, Minn. from birth until he moved with his mother to Montrose, Colo. in 1975 and graduated from the Montrose High School in 1989. Here he made his home until his time of death. Rick was employed as a cook with Burger King and then at The Red Barn, both for a total of 20 years. He was a very hard worker and enjoyed his work.
