Linda Ferril Faulkner LAKE HAVASU CITY, Ariz. — Linda Ferril Faulkner, who passed peacefully at home on April 4, 2008, was born and raised in a tiny hamlet south of Vandalia, Ill. She attended nurses training for three years in St. Louis before moving to Denver where she she practiced as an R.N. There, she met her husband, Jim. They had two sons, Jim Jr. and John, who currently reside in Cedaredge and Boulder respectively. The family moved to Montrose, Colo. in 1975. They lived there happily for 25 years. She was a R.N. at Montrose Memorial Hospital for many years. In 1999, Linda and Jim moved to Lake Havasu City, Ariz. She was very active in local organizations there including The Havasu 4 Wheelers, Western Welcome, the Genealogy Society, The London Bridge Amateur Radio Association and the North Palo Verde Baptist Church. She will be missed by all who knew her, but especially by her two grandchildren, Tim and Carolyne. Linda and Jim were married 43 years. A memorial will be held in her honor at the North Palo Verde Baptist Church, 2101 N. Palo Verde in Lake Havasu City, on Monday, April 14, 2008, at 4 p.m. Any who knew her may attend. |
