Bulah Fay DeMille

Nov. 2, 1925 — May 11, 2008

PARADOX — Bulah Fay DeMille, of Paradox, Colo., passed away at her home on Sunday, May 11, 2008, at the age of 82. Bulah was born Nov. 2, 1925 in Joplin, Mo. to Lewis George and Daisy Dell (Givedon) Graham. As a young child, Bulah spent her childhood in Wheatland, Wyo. and received her education there. She married Alpine G. DeMille on June 10, 1944; they celebrated 63 years of marriage. The couple also resided in Rockville, Utah, Baggs, Wyo., and Monticello, Utah before moving to Paradox where they have made their home until Bulah’s time of death. Bulah was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Paradox, Colo. Bulah and Alpine enjoyed spending time with their horses throughout the years. They took pride in their horsemanship and events for many years. She also enjoyed arrowhead hunting, gardening and painting.

Survivors include her husband Alpine DeMille of Paradox; sons, Ted DeMille of Broken Arrow, Okla., Tam DeMille of Redvale, Colo., Tim DeMille of Browning, Utah; daughters, Linda Binggeli of Richmond, Utah, Joyce Pitcher of Smithfield, Utah, Penny DeMille of Ft. Lupton, Colo., Jeanie Cooper of Paradox;  22 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.

Bulah was preceded in death by her parents; 11 siblings; and one great-grandson.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 16, 2008, at 1 p.m., at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Paradox, Colo. A visitation for family and friends will be held prior to the service on Friday, from 11 a.m. up to service time.  Burial will follow the service at Paradox Cemetery in Paradox.
