MONTROSE — Billie Richards Reeves, age 71, of Montrose, died at home on Sunday, July 6, 2008.
Billie was born on Dec. 2, 1936 in Evanston, Ill. to William C. and Bernice Royston Richards. She spent her childhood in Evanston and Chicago, Ill. and graduated from Evanston Township High School. Billie attended Marquette University and received her B.A. degree from DePaul University in Chicago. She spent her career as an accountant.

Survivors include Billie’s brother, Tom Richards and his wife Sue; her nephews, Scott Richards, Steve Richards, and Chip Richards, their wives Liz, Ali and Peta; her grandnieces and nephews, Henry Richards, Annabelle Richards, Royce Richards, Chloe Richards, and Joshua Richards; and the entire family surviving Marvin Reeves. Billie was a very loving sister, aunt and great-aunt, and a wonderful source of support, love and laughter to all her friends and family.
A celebration of Billie’s life will be held at Montrose Elks Lodge No. 1053 on Sunday, July 13 at 11 a.m.
Memorial contributions may be made, in memory of Billie Reeves, to Meals on Wheels of Montrose, c/o Montrose Pavilion, 1800 Pavillion Drive, Montrose, CO 81401.
