Thanks Montrose County!

I would just like to commend the County on the wonderful job they did resurfacing Chipeta drive!

It wasn't long ago, coming home after a stressful day of work, that I would dread actually having to use my steering wheel to manuever my vehicle down the winding curves of Chipeta. Now when I'm driving home, I look forward to Chipeta, thanks to the new RGS (Rut Guidance System, for those of you from Olathe) the County installed. Now all I have to do is turn up my radio, lay back in my seat, fold my hands behind my head and let the road do the driving for me! It's spectacular!

I'll admit, last fall I was strongly opposed to the tax increase the county proposed to improve our local roads. I even voted against it and wept for days when it was passed. But now that I see all the great things they are using the money for, like RGS, I will give any tax initiative the county might like to propose in the future my full support now that they have proven they are such great stewards of my, and my fellow residents' tax dollars!

Thanks again, Montrose County, and especially Brian Wilson, for your courageous leadership and immaculate foresight!
