Henry A. Caldwell

MONTROSE — Henry (Hank) A. Caldwell, age 85, of Ridgway, Colo. passed away Friday morning Aug. 29, 2008 with his wife Mary Louise and son Jim at his side.

Born in Oakmont, Pa., he graduated from Penn State University with a degree in mechanical engineering. He served his country in World War II as a lieutenant in the Army Air Corps, stationed in Guam, the Philippines and various other South Pacific locations.

His professional career, designing and selling heating and air conditioning equipment, spanned from Washington D.C., Georgia, New York, New Jersey and finished on Colorado’s front range. He loved to ski, golf, and travel with Mary Louise. Henry was a life-long practicing Christian Scientist. Arrangements are under the direction of Crippin Funeral Home & Crematory, Montrose (970) 249-2121.
