Sept. 7, 1946 — Sept. 9, 2008

MONTROSE — George Glumac passed away suddenly Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2008, from heart failure. Full of life, he recently celebrated his birthday of 62 years on Sunday, Sept. 7 with his family. He was a man of noble character, beloved husband, grandfather, father of seven children, and faithful friend of many.

George was born in Hibbing, Minn., on Sept. 7, 1946. He graduated from the University of North Dakota in Fargo, with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering.  George’s career path lead him to Honeywell, Rockford Products and eventually followed his dream of owning and operating Sample Solutions. He used his joy of solving problems in his business to create new products to be introduced into the marketplace. Each day was spent looking for someone he could learn from or help. His passion was researching and finding solutions. George enjoyed boating, down-hill and water skiing and spending time with his family. He was an avid reader and a life-long learner.
