NATURITA—Laurianne May Kettle, age 56 of Naturita, Colo. died Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2008 from injuries sustained in a traffic accident, in Naturita.
Laurie was born April 5, 1952 to Pierre and Lorna (Hall) Veilleux in Lewiston, Maine. Laurie met and married Rick Kettle, Jan. 1, 1995 in Nucla, Colo. They have been married for 14 years and reside in Naturita. Laurie was a board member of the Town of Naturita, and a past board member of the Basin Clinic E.M.T., and Secretary of the State Bowling League. Laurie enjoyed the outdoors and going fishing. Bowling, playing cards and sewing were favorite pastimes.

A Funeral Service in celebration of Laurianne’s life will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2008 at 11 a.m. (not 2 p.m. as previously announced) at the Penecostal Church in Naturita, Colo., with Pastor Dan Williams officiating. The service will conclude at the church. At Laurianne’s request, cremation will follow the service, and inurnment of cremains will take place at a later date in Maine. Memorial contributions may be made to Citizen State Bank, c/o Laurie Kettle Memorial Fund, at any Citizen State Bank Branch, Naturita, Colo. 81422.
