Aaron G. Grammer, 19, of Norwood, was ejected from the Chevy Cavalier in which he was a passenger, the Colorado Sate Patrol reported.
The crash also seriously injured the driver, Christian Kelley, 20, and passenger Natalie Petersen, 19, both also of Norwood.

"The suspension of the vehicle compressed, due to the different elevations in the county road and Colorado 145, causing a gouge in the pavement," CSP Capt. Clark Bates said in a news release.
The Chevy then yawed and went off the left side of the road, into a dry irrigation ditch and struck a fence before launching airborne.
The smashed down on its wheels, spun a quarter turn and tipped over, rolling more than twice and spinning to eject Grammer, Petersen and Kelley.
Grammer was pronounced dead at the Norwood clinic about two hours after the crash. Petersen was flown to St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Junction with serious injuries. Kelley was taken to Montrose Memorial Hospital.
There was no immediate indication as to whether charges would be filed.
