LAS VEGAS, Nev. — Former Montrose resident Robert “Daron” Cobb passed away due to a heart attack at the age of 53 in Las Vegas, Nev. on Oct. 24, 2008.

Daron, the oldest son of Don and Darnetha Cobb, was born Oct. 13, 1955 in Oklahoma City, Okla.

He is survived by two daughters, Misty (Chris) Montoya and grandchildren Kendra and Trevor, of Montrose, Dara (Rich) Brocksmith of Texas; his parents of Oklahoma; his brother, Dennis (Sara) Cobb of Oklahoma; sisters, Debra (Ray) Howard of Louisiana, Darla (David) McFadden of Montrose, Dana Semtner of Oklahoma, Deanna (Roy) Southwell; one uncle, Reg (Glenda) Hamman and children Kevin and Kyle, of Arkansas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place and a family service will be held in Oklahoma. We will miss him deeply and are so grateful for the time we had.
