TOPEKA, Kansas — Margaret J. Glasgow, 94, of Topeka, Kan., passed away Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2008 at her home.
Margaret was born Feb. 9, 1914, in Topeka to Howard T. and Nettie (Stover) Jackson. She graduated from Seaman Rural High School; was active in her community, working with schools and on election boards; spent 50 years running her drapery, antiques, lamps, and crafts businesses; and belonged to many organizations.

Surviving are her three children, Doris (Thomas J.) Chamberlain of Montrose, Colo., Dorothy Miller and Jerry W. (Linda) Glasgow of Topeka; sister, Elizabeth Wooster-Petrik of Topeka; brothers, Elmer Jackson of Topeka, Harley Jackson of Grand Junction, Colo. and S. Wesley Jackson of Salina, Kansas; nine grandchildren, Brenda Metheny of Montrose, Brad Hitt and Barry Hitt of Denver, Brian Hitt of Richland, Wash., Kirk Miller, Jay Miller, Paula Tubbs, Jeffery Glasgow and Justin Glasgow, all of the Topeka area; 20 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Services and burial were in Topeka.
