Selected were Dave Laursen, who also chairs the Montrose County Planning Commission and Montrose Area Merchants Association; Scott Stryker, a businessman and chamber board member; Peter Crowell, who is a member of the Region 10 LEAP Program, the Member Advisory Council to Delta-Montrose Electrical Association and board president of All Points Transit; businessman and rancher Jay Jutten; Daniel Stright, an engineer and business owner; Dr. Tim Sullinger; Bob Hoshide, a mechanical engineer, and Naturita rancher Don Bennett.
Rounding out the advisory committee are the chairman, Steve Stevenson, a businessman, and the vice chair, Jim Anderson, whose background includes construction, farming and small business.

The committee will be an information gathering and sharing source and will suggest solutions to the Board of County Commissioners. The commissioners can decide what action, if any, to take on the suggestions.
