To the community. We need your support!!! I am a member of Hope Lutheran Church. We are the church that has the live Nativity Scene on the court house lawn on S. 1st street. This is a tradition practiced by our church for 25 or 30 years. It is something that we love to do!!! Our reminder to everyone what Christmas is about, the birth of our Lord and Savior. But in the past 8 or 9 years support from the communtiy has faded. Tonight, the 22nd, was the first of 2 nights that we will be there, and only about 12-15 people stopped and came up to see it and show their support. We are not asking for any finacial help at all, but there are members who want to stop doing the Nativity all together. Please don't let that happen!! It is your tradition too!!  Just come and see us, bring your children so they can see what Christmas is really about. That is why we do it!!! For the community!!
