MONTROSE — During a special announcement Monday morning, the city made public that it has offered Mesa State College 85 acres on Sunset Mesa — directly above Cerise Park — to build an expanded campus.

Details on how and when the expansion will happen were not discussed at the meeting — nor were they known. Mesa State President Tim Foster said the next step will be to find funding.
