OLATHE — Olathe resident, Patsy Ruth Kessler, passed away Saturday, Feb. 28, 2009, at Colorow Care Center in Olathe. She was 71 years of age.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 5, 2009, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Delta, Colo., with Bishop Kevin Pulsipher conducting. Interment will follow at Delta City Cemetery.

Patsy enjoyed studying genealogy, sewing and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Her family tried to stay in touch with her every day by phone; however, if the news or “Guiding Light” were on, they could never reach her.
Patsy is survived by one son, Shannon Linscott (Roxie) of Pipe Creek, Texas; two daughters, Kelly Sims (Mike) of Montrose, Colo., and Pidge Bollig (Richard) of Delta, Colo.; one brother, John Smith (Linda) of Olathe, Colo.; and one sister, Roxcie Scheets (Allen) of Austin, Colo. Patsy is further survived by 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild on the way; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Patsy was preceded in death by her parents; five sisters; and three brothers.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made, in Patsy’s memory, to Wells Fargo Bank, c/o Liz Esquibel, 400 Main St., Montrose, CO 81401.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Taylor Funeral Service and Crematory.
