Legalizing Marijuana

  Well  looks like our leaders are considering legalizing marajuana. Finally some sense on tis issue. Iam currently a legal patient who sufferes from intense migrane headaches as well as alcholsim, been sober for 9 yrs.,and mj is a godsend for myself and thousands of others. Here in Western Colo we have one of the worlds best enviorments for cultivation of marijuana so despite what folks may think, good or bad, the econmic benifit we will see will be a boom to the comunity hereabouts. In Calif., they have proposed a $800.00 per plant tax stamp, that would bring in a considerable amount of tax revenue, no longer would the crimminal element be involved. The quality and availablity will be much better, safer to obtain. The war on drugs should be looked at as well, prevention thru education, tell the truth for once about the real drugs that do destroy. Education begins with thuth at early age, show 1st hand testomonials  from recovering addicts and alkies like myself, what happens if you get caught up in the hard drugs and legal booze and cigs,, legal and illegal, especially the number 1 kiler legal booze and tobacco.prevention, an adddict will use no matter what, but we can educate, inform truthfully and prevent and treat deadly addictions with funds collected thru taxes. This makes more sense to me than what has transpired in past and were getting tired of the hippocrasy of mj being illegal, a wonder that has so many benifits that were not told about, to further profits from chemdrug industry, lawyers, the courts, the dealers, the cops, and govt all profit in some way from illegal activity associated with the illegal un taxed profits which far our exceed any other agriculture product, so by taxing and regualting more funds will be generated and kept track of where the finds go. Were looking forward to the day when common sense will win over fear, lies ,corrruption that is going on now...Peaceoutchickenman
