Rosalie is the ninth of 10 children. She attended school in Vernal, Utah and graduated from Uintah High School in 1960. Rosalie Gardner married DeLyle Rowley on June 3, 1960 in Vernal, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti, LDS Temple.  Rosalie and DeLyle’s union was blessed with six children: Sharleen, Wayne, Bert, Travis, Suzanne and Lynette. Rosalie’s married life started out in Vernal, Utah; they then moved to LaSalle and Moab Utah, Anderson, Calif. and resided in Montrose, Colo. at the time of her death.

Rosalie always provided home canned fruits and vegetables for the family and made many of their clothes when they were younger; she was a wonderful homemaker. She went on the trap-line whenever she could in their early married life and also liked to work alongside of her husband on the farm, help with the cows and at hunting camp. " I am deeply saddened by the loss of Rosalie. She was one the most beautiful and kind people I have ever met. I looked forward to seeing her gentle smile and those home cooked meals. I had the pleasure of meeting Rosalie while elk hunting with Delyle on the ranch. My thoughts and prayers go out to Delyle and his family. I am so sorry. She will be missed greatly by my brothers and myself... Erik Glauvitz "

" Shocked to hear this horrible news. Though I've known Rosalie for only eleven years she seems like family. Like so many who's lives she has touched by her kindness, caring, sincerity, humor and especially by her example, I wouldn't know where to begin to explain how she will be missed... suffice it to say I have many fond memories. I knew Rosalie through hunting camp and emails; and I will miss her dearly. I can only imagine how she will be missed by her family. My heart goes out you all.
