Event organizer, Victoria Hearst estimated that anywhere from 10,000 to 15,000 people attended the festival, which saw rain Friday afternoon.
“Whoever comes is going to be blessed,” Hearst said. “It’s not the numbers, it’s the word we’re trying to get across.”

Believers and non-believers were invited to the free festival sponsored by Praise Him Ministries. Hearst is the founder of the non-denominational Christian ministry in Ridgway.
In addition to music, there were many kids’ activities including obstacle courses, ball games, bungee-jump, mechanical rides and bracelet making.
“Today is a day that shows you can be a Christian and have fun and dance around and enjoy life and not do the things that can bring people down,” Hearst said.
The festival was an alcohol and smoking free event.
Nine bands played on Friday and another nine play today. Musical acts ranged from rock and country to hip-hop. The David Crowder Band closed the night Friday and Jeremy Camp will close the act Saturday.
