Man sentenced in stabbing; draws four years’ commcorr By Katharhynn HeidelbergDaily Press Senior Writer MONTROSE — Brian Jackson will serve four years in community corrections for an unprovoked knife attack in January. Jackson, 26, pleaded guilty in May to two counts of felony menacing and was sentenced Monday. He was initially charged with first-degree assault for stabbing Sean Carey in the neck at a home on Montrose Drive. Carey and others had gathered in the home to watch movies when, police reports say, Jackson stabbed him.
