The 2009 graduate was more than glad to participate in the event, which was held at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley June 13.
“My whole experience was just amazing,” said Rumbaugh who was on the South squad. “I’ll never forget this opportunity, I got a chance to meet some great guys and will be looking forward to seeing some of them at Mesa State this fall.”

“Just playing in this game compared to a regular season game was just so much faster,” he said.
Rumbaugh’s future plans include attending Mesa State College next year. As for football though, he wasn’t sure what the future holds.
“I’m just not sure what I’m going to be doing, I didn’t receive any scholarships and I haven’t made up my mind on whether or not I’m going to walk-on,” he said.
Even with Rumbaugh’s football future still up in the air, he is pretty sure he knows what lies ahead for the Montrose Indians.
“They have a bright future in front of them,” he said. “We have some of the best coaches in the state on staff and they just know what they’re doing and they always get everybody to play on the same page.”
The Olathe Pirates also saw two of their players participate in the game as well. OHS running back David Rhodes and lineman Tyler Hawk were both nominated to play for the South squad.
