MONTROSE — The 7th annual Samaritan Aviation golf tournament and fundraiser will be held at The Bridges on Saturday, July 18. Shotgun start at 9 a.m. The cost is $100 per golfer / $400 per team. This year's dinner/auction fundraiser will be held at the Montrose Pavilion Friday, July 17 and will be catered by The Camp Robber. Social hour is 6-7 p.m., dinner starts at 7 p.m. The cost is $50 per dinner / $400 per table. Register your golf team and rsvp for the dinner by July 10, 2009 by calling 970-249-4341. Football and Basketball Golf Tournament
MONTROSE — The Montrose High School boys' basketball and football programs are hosting the first annual 4-Person Scramble at The Links @ Cobble Creek Friday, Aug. 7 with a 1 p.m. shotgun start. The entry fee is $85 per player and includes greens fee, cart, continental breakfast, after tournament Bar-B-Que, and a tee prize. The deadline to enter is Sunday, Aug. 2. Youth basketball camp
MONTROSE — The Montrose High boys basketball coaching staff and current players will be hosting a Youth Basketball Camp Aug. 10-12 from 1 to 4 p.m. for third through eighth graders in developing individual and team skills. Future high school players will begin to learn the offense, defense and shooting skills to ensure a great long-lasting basketball tradition at Montrose High School. The cost is $40.
