Tyler Adams Redfield Jr. Tyler Adams Redfield Jr. June 23, 1947 — June 13, 2009 MONTROSE — Tyler Adams Redfield Jr., age 62, of Montrose, passed away at his home on Monday, July 13, 2009. Tyler was born to Tyler Adams and Isabel (Killian) Redfield in Cambridge, Mass. Tyler’s father was in the military, so the family moved frequently during the time Tyler was raised and received his education. Following high school, Tyler graduated from New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, N.M. with a B.A. in Photo Journalism. He was previously married to Cindy Longoria, but the marriage ended in divorce. Tyler served his country in the United States Navy for four years as a Photographers Mate and was stationed at McMurdo Station in the Antartica and was honorably discharged in 1986. Tyler resided in Albuquerque, N.M. prior to moving to Montrose, Colo. where he had made his home until his time of death. He enjoyed auto mechanics, firearms and shooting. Tyler had a great love for photography. Survivors include his mother, Isabel K. Redfield of Fairfield, Calif; a brother, Judd N. Redfield of Montrose, Colo.; sister, Keithly Bettencourt of Gilroy, Calif; nieces, Dana Redfield, Abby Bettencourt and Gail Redfield. Tyler was preceded in death by his father. A memorial service in celebration of Tyler’s life will be held on Sunday, July 19, 2009, at 3 p.m., at Crippin Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Paul Nystrom officiating. At Tyler’s request, cremation has taken place, and the service will conclude at the chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Crippin Funeral Home & Crematory, 802 E.
