Priscilla Duffield

April 8, 1918 —  July 21, 2009

NORWOOD — Priscilla Duffield, age 91, of Norwood, Colo., passed away Tuesday evening, July 21, 2009, at her home.  Priscilla was born April 8, 1918 in Berkeley, Calif. She spent her childhood in Corning, Calif.  She graduated from college at U.C. Berkeley. She married Robert B. Duffield in Santa Fe, N.M.

He preceded her in death in 2000 in Norwood, Colo. Priscilla was Executive Assistant to Directors of The National Accelator Laboratory, of Scripps Institute of Oceanography, and Los Alamos National Laboratory prior to her retirement in Norwood. Priscilla was also active in the Norwood community. She served on the Board for the Uncompahgre Medical Clinic for many years.

Survivors include two daughters, Deborah Duffield and Libby Dietrick; and grandson, Miles Duffield. At Priscilla’s request, cremation has taken place. Arrangements are under the direction of Crippin Funeral Home & Crematory, Montrose, Colo.
