MESA, Ariz. — William D. Osborne, 84, of Mesa Ariz., died April 16, 2009, at the Colorado State Veterans Nursing Home. He was a former radio and television announcer in Cheyenne Wyo., Denver, Colo. and Colorado Springs, Colo. He and his wife also owned businesses in Woodland Park, Colo. later retiring to Mesa Ariz. Mr. Osborne attended school in Missouri, later joining the United States Navy where he met and married his loving wife, LouEtta DeVinny, July 17, 1944. He later attended Radio School in California. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling with his wife.

Surviving are his three daughters and their husbands: Marlene and Jim Bradley of Centennial, Wyo., Mary and Tom Williamson, of Monroe, Ga., Melody and Larry Juth of Westcliff, Colo. Also surviving is a half brother, Bob Carter and his wife, Jane of Missouri; daughter-in-law, Kathy Osborne of Arvada, Colo. He has eight grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, LouEtta; one son, William D. Osborne; and his parents, Mary and Ural Carter. A gathering of family and friends are invited on Saturday, Aug. 8, 2009, at 10 a.m., at Grand View Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Crippin Funeral Home and Crematory, 802 E.
