MONTROSE — Thomas A. Floyd, age 83 of Montrose, Colo.,  passed away Aug. 16, 2009 of natural causes.

Tom was born on July 5, 1926 in Lakeview, Texas to Parker Burton Floyd and Fay Elizabeth (Sessions) Floyd. He is survived by his wife, Mary Louise “Lou” Floyd of Montrose; children, Michael A. Floyd and Marvin D. Floyd; his brothers, Gene Floyd and Geral Floyd, and many grand and great-grandchildren.

He enjoyed his family, his “Ham Radio Buds,” and many friends he acquired over the years. He will be missed by all.

It was his wish not to have a funeral service but rather to be cremated and returned to the place where he enjoyed many years of hunting and fishing with his family.
