MONTROSE — Our loving mother, Ursula Hauze, passed from this realm on Sept. 30, 2009, leaving a legacy of unconditional love and acceptance to her children, grandchildren, friends and neighbors who will miss her deeply. She was born to Vincent and Claire Ermert in Herdorf, Germany, on March 31, 1924. She married the love of her life, William Hauze, on Oct. 21, 1944. They created a lively and joyful home together in Livingston, N.J., while raising six kids who adored them.
After “Big Bill” died in 1983, Ursula became the matriarch, inspiration and trusted guide of her large extended family. She also had many friends who appreciated her gracious and wise presence, her ready sense of humor and her amazing resiliency. She was especially close to her grandchildren, Ali, Brian, Carly, Tyler, Marina, Corey, Sarah, Sean, Ben, Vinny, Jerry, Michael, Kerry, Pasha, Crystal, Shanti and Orion and great-grandchildren, Mason, Natasiah, Madeline and Aspen. She was proud and delighted that her children and their children enjoy each other and are close-knit.
