March 14, 1928 — October 16, 2009

Long time Paonia resident, Marie Wilson, passed away at the Paonia Care and Rehab Center in Paonia, Colorado on Friday, October 16, 2009.  She was eighty-one years of age.

A memorial graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Thursday, October 22, 2009 at the Cedar Hill Cemetery in Paonia, Colorado, with James Gall presiding.

Marie is survived by three sons: Ralph Wilson and his wife Sharon of Eugene, OR, Ray Wilson and his wife Dolores of Delta, CO, and Ron Wilson and his wife Maxine of Paonia, CO, and one daughter, Judy Thompson and her husband Randall of Grand Junction, CO, one brother, Ralph Ray and his wife Merna of Pea Green, CO, and one sister, Reva Braswell of Texas.

She is further survived by nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters: Ellen Calhoun and Fern Taylor.

Memorial contributions may be made to Cookson Hills, RR 3 Box 200, Kansas, OK, 74347.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Taylor Funeral Service and Crematory.
