During her lifetime, she and Merell enjoyed the Colorado outdoors by trout fishing, gem hunting and tending to their orchard and garden.
While a resident of Montrose, she faithfully attended the Montrose Seventh Day Adventist Church. Her daily prayers were an important part of her faith and often included persons unknown to her such as the local police and firemen.
A loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister and friend, she will be sorely missed by all hearts who long to be reunited with her at the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Services will be held at the Montrose Seventh Day Adventist Church, 1401 S. Townsend Ave., Sunday, Nov. 1, at 12:45 p.m., with Pastor Michael Campbell officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Crippen Funeral Home, 802 E. Main St., Montrose, CO 81401 (970) 249-2121.
