MONTROSE — Barbara M. Orendorf passed away on Oct. 25, 2009 at the San Juan Living Center after a long illness. She was 92.

Barbara was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints First Ward and taught Relief Society and was a visiting teacher. She was also a past President of Al-Anon, a member of the Engineer Ladies and a past Director of the Bowling Association.
She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, gardening, bowling, knitting and was an avid reader who enjoyed country music and dancing.
Barbara leaves behind a son, Stan (Helen) Lyen of Grand Junction, Colo.; three daughters, Joyce (Eldon) Harrison of Montrose, Colo., Eula Mae (Jerry) Jones of Cedaredge, Colo. and Judy (Ernie) Coats of Palisade, Colo.; a step-daughter, Loretta Milcarek of Denver, Colo.; two brothers, Robert Cash of Albuquerque, N.M. and Norman Gene Cash of Phoenix, Ariz.; 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Barbara was preceded in death by three brothers: Vernon Cash, Roy Cash and Glen Cash and two sisters: Fern Grimes and Ruby Lister.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 2542 G Road, Grand Junction, with a visitation time from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Church. A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. at Grand View Cemetery, Montrose, Colo.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Martin Mortuary.
