DENVER - Dr. Sam Jahani, D.O., wants the wrongful termination suit against him stayed until the Drug Enforcement Administration has concluded its investigation.

Attorneys for plaintiff Tonya Creel say, however, that a blanket stay is an extraordinary remedy that is not justified.

The DEA seized records from Jahani’s Montrose, Delta and Grand Junction offices Oct. 13, along with records of Dr. Eric Peper.

IRS investigators were also present. The DEA has not said what prompted the seizures and no charges have been filed.
