Limbaugh plan supportable

Re: Government reform unfair

I retired from Xcel Energy (PSC) and have good medical insurance. Because I am 71 years old, the proposed government medical care plan will degrade the coverage of my plan. President Obama has stated that my group, being close to death, will receive counseling to assist us in accepting death with minimum medical assistance. I don’t owe anyone part of the existing medical insurance that I earned through greater than 20 years of service to Colorado Ute Electric and Excel Energy.

Congressman John Salazar, Senators Michael Bennet and Mark Udall were contacted and I advised them that it was not fair to degrade my medical insurance while their medical insurance plan is unchanged because their plan is not a government plan.

I have been part of the ‘Tea Bag’ group and have demonstrated my feelings in Montrose, Denver and Grand Junction.

A health care plan for needy people only as detailed by Rush Limbaugh I would support, but the proposed plan for everyone but our congressmen I don’t want and don’t need. Everyone who is employed and has adequate income needs to provide his own medical insurance. In addition, we should minimize our request for medical assistance, don’t request coverage for illegal aliens in our country or coverage for abortions.

Health care insurance should be available to us from all companies through out our country to provide competition that will minimize cost.

My final comment is that I don’t trust any health care bill that utilizes 1,900 pages to detail it.
