MONTROSE - Even Santa Claus needs a little bit of help during the holidays with the current tough economic times.

Toys for Tots of Montrose is once again preparing for the holiday season, by partnering with several local businesses to collect new, unwrapped toys for less fortunate children.

The Montrose Police Department’s Cops for Kids program, Sharing Ministries, The Pregnancy Center, Hilltop Tandem Families, the Montrose County School District and Montrose County Health and Human Services are helping Toys for Tots put together 29 collection points throughout the area starting Nov. 24 and lasting until Dec. 17.
