Ted Vermillion

MESA, Ariz. — Ted Vermillion, 70, of Cedaredge, Colo., passed away on Nov. 13, 2009 in Mesa, Ariz. of natural causes. He was born July 14, 1939 to Earl and Edith Vermillion in Boulder, Colo. Ted graduated from the University of Colorado, served the Cedaredge community for 20 years as owner and pharmacist at the Cedaredge Pharmacy, and was very well known in the community. After retiring, Ted and his wife, Pat, spent winters in Arizona, where he loved to golf, and together they spent a lot of time travelling. 

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Loye Mae Vermillion in 1985, and is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Patricia (Crown) Vermillion; daughters, Diane (Tom) Davis of Port Orchard, Wash., Janet (Darryl) Willshire of Craig, Colo. and Karen Eisenach of DeBeque, Colo.; brothers, Robert Vermillion of Boulder, Colo. and Richard Vermillion of Ignacio, Colo.; and seven grandchildren: Alzata, Vanessa and Kendall Davis of Port Orchard, Wash., Derek, Todd and Breanne Willshire of Craig, Colo. and Meridian Eisenach of DeBeque, Colo. 

Condolences can be sent to the family at: P.O. Box 38, Cedaredge, CO 81413. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Delta County Memorial Hospital, 1501 E. 3rd St., Delta, CO 81416. A memorial service for Ted will be scheduled in Cedaredge for later in the spring. Arrangements are entrusted to Mariposa Gardens Funeral Care (480) 830-4422.
