MONTROSE — Margaret A. Lindly, age 92 of Montrose, Colo., passed away Saturday evening, Jan. 23, 2010, at Valley Manor Care Center in Montrose. She was born April 9, 1917 at Mason City, Neb., to Elwin and Matilda (Rushek) Morris. A year later, the family moved to Ortello Valley near Anselmo, Neb. She graduated from Anselmo High School in 1934. On Nov. 6, 1940, Margaret married John W. Lindly at North Platte, Neb. They lived in Arizona, California and Nebraska. Margaret worked for Security State Bank in Ansley, Neb. for over 30 years. John passed away Dec. 17, 1995 at Kearney, Neb. In the summer of 2001, Margaret moved to Montrose where she made her home until the time of her death.

She is survived by her daughter, Jean (Dwayne) Bramer of Montrose; grandsons, Jerry (Amy) Bramer of Sidney, Neb. and Jim Bramer, Kennesaw, Ga; granddaughter Jody Bramer, Temecula, Calif.; great-grandson, John Bramer, Sidney, Neb.; sister, Norma Van Neste, Raymore, Mo.; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and two brothers. At Margaret’s request, cremation has taken place and a private family memorial will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Crippin Funeral Home & Crematory, 802 E. Main St., Montrose, CO 81401 (970) 249-2121.
