MONTROSE ” Gorgeous wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses, prom gowns, crinolines, tiaras and more now will be sold at Heirlooms for Hospice to raise money for the nonprofit Hospice & Palliative Care of Western Colorado.

The extensive array of wedding and other formal wear was donated by Dave and Deana Loncar, who recently closed their Lasting Memories Bridal of Montrose. The donation comes just in time to be featured in the Heirlooms Wedding Extravaganza Aug. 2-14.

The donation to the Montrose Heirlooms store is being shared with the Grand Junction store.

“We are thankful to be the recipient of such a generous donation,” said Montrose Heirlooms Manager Sally Lawson. “Every single item is gorgeous, and we truly appreciate the Loncars’ thoughtfulness. Anyone with an upcoming wedding or special occasion is sure to find something they love.”

Heirlooms is staffed primarily by volunteers, and sale proceeds directly support the mission of Hospice & Palliative Care of Western Colorado. The store sells gently used fine clothing, furniture, antiques, housewares, decor and accessories donated by the community.
