Steele, 48, drowned after falling into the South Canal July 1. His body was recovered July 17, after several searches by authorities and friends, and, per the coroner, was identified “to the exclusion of all others” by forensic examination and dental records.
Steele hosted a popular morning show on KBNG 103.7 The Blast, one of three local radio stations operated by Cherry Creek Radio. The radio reports that Steele’s family is asking for help with travel expenses and funeral costs.
