Ashamed and Astonished
I have been a resident of Montrose my entire life. At an early age my uncle was killed and buried in one of our local cemetaries. I visit this paticular cemetary once a week, rain or shine. When I went up to this cemetary yesterday I was very astonished to find that in the Vet's area (where my uncle is buried) there was only 3 new American Flags in the whole entire area! What I find to amaze me even more is that Veterns day was less than a week ago! Why are we not remembering the men and women who faught for our country, for our freedom, for our safety and security? I found this very shameful as I am one to greatly support our troops and here these people lie to rest without even the rememberance to get a flag placed on their graves for Veterns day. Now, maybe they did hold a ceremony and place flags all over, but the owner of this cemetary has been known to take things off my Uncle's grave, including but not limited to the American flag I try to keep up there at all times. Even as much of a disrespecful person as he may be, I find it hard to believe all the flags in the entire Vet portion of the cemetary to be removed. If it was indeed the case of someone removing them, I hope you are forgiven by others, as it is hard for me to look past all you've done to my family. One note I would like to say, Thank you to the man that was placing the Gravestones in the Cemetary yesterday, that is the first time in more than 6 years I have been greeted by a friendly wave while entering this cemetary. I'm not sure if other Cemetaries don't have the flags or if this is the only one.. but lets remember all of those who faught for us because they didn't have to.

Domestic Violence and Divorce
In reading the article concerning Domestic Violence, it appeared that rights of the accused were being "tossed aside". It is clear, if researched, that there is more to this story than meets the eye. Although no one should be subjected to any kind of abuse, there are reasons why individual rights need to be protected.
