NOTICE OF PROPOSED BUDGET

Notice is hereby given that a proposed budget was submitted to the Board of Trustees of Montrose Memorial Hospital for the ensuing year of 2010. A copy of such proposed budget has been filed in the administration office of the Hospital at 800 South 3rd Street, Montrose, Colorado 81401 where it is open for public inspection. Such proposed budget will be considered at a regular meeting of the Board of Trustees to be held in Conference Room A at 800 South 3rd Street, Montrose, Colorado 81401 on November 23, 2009 at 5:00 p.m.

Any interest elector of the County may file any objections to the proposed budget at any time prior to the final adoption of the budget by the Board of Trustees.

Grand Avenue, Montrose, CO 81401, sell to the highest bidder for cash, the personal property described above for the purpose of paying the mechanics lien in the respective amounts as follows:

The City of Montrose, Colorado is requesting formal competitive sealed bids through the Invitation For Bid process for the sale of a used sewer cleaning Jetter Truck. The truck is a 1994 Freightliner/Sreco Flexible Model FL80. Montrose County is accepting applications from citizens interested in serving on the Boards listed below. Join a very dynamic advisory board and make a difference in our County! Applications must be received by November 30, 2009.

Airport Advisory Board
Five (5) seats are available on the Airport Advisory Board to fill 3 full terms expiring 12/31/2012 and 2 vacant terms expiring 12/31/2011. Members are drawn from Montrose, Ouray, San Miguel and Delta Counties. One seat will be filled by a candidate residing in the Telluride / San Miguel County area; one seat will be filled with a West End resident; one seat and the two vacancies will be filled from the Montrose area. This board meets on a regular basis to advise and assist the Director of Aviation on issues of marketing, public relations and airport planning and development along with other issues that will further inter-regional representation and cooperation necessary to enhance the airport's level of service to the public. Members are chosen on their willingness to be active participants and assist the airport in committee related tasks. Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month at 4:00 p.m. at 161 South Townsend Avenue in the Commissioners Meeting Room.

Board of Adjustment
One (1) seat is available on the Board of Adjustment for a term expiring 1/31/2013. Board Members are appointed to staggered 5yr terms and meet on an “as-needed” basis to consider appeals as a result of zoning issues.

Montrose County Weed Commission
Three (3) seats are available on the Weed Commission with terms expiring 12/31/2012. Bylaws require two seats are at large and one seat be held by a landowner of 40 acres or more and reside within the Uncompahgre Pest Control District. Terms are for three years.

Region 10 LEAP Board of Directors RLF Committee
Two (21) seats are available on the Revolving Loan Fund Committee for a term expiring 1/1/2012. This Board considers small business start up loans within the community so banking or financial background is helpful. Regular terms are for two years.

Region 10 LEAP Board of Directors
Two (2) seats are available on the Board of Directors for at large representatives of Montrose County with term expirations of 1/1/2012. The role of the Board of Directors is to adopt the policies, plans and general governance of the Region 10 League for Economic Assistance & Planning, Inc. The Board meets quarterly on the fourth Thursday in the months of January, April, July and October.

Montrose Memorial Hospital Board of Trustees
One (1) seat is available on the Board of Trustees for a West End representative whose term expires the second Tuesday, January 2015. By Laws dictate that the candidate should be a West End / County Resident. Meetings are currently scheduled for the 4th Monday of each month in the Hospital Classroom.

Planning Commission
Montrose County Planning Commission has two Commission seats available with full terms expiring 12/31/2012 and an Alternate 1 seat available with term expiring 12/31/2011 and an Alternate 2 seat with term expiring 12/31/2010 and two regular member seats available with terms expiring 12/31/2011. Alternates will attend all meetings and have voting authority when called upon to establish a quorum. This Board meets to consider current land use issues, application of zoning, special uses and subdivision regulations. The Planning Commission meets on the 4th Thursday of the month in the Commissioners Board Room.

West End Planning Advisory Committee
Montrose County WEPAC has an Alternate seat available with a term expiring 12/31/2010. Alternate member attends regular meetings, and will participate in such meetings as necessary due to the absence of a Committee member. The Committee reviews all subdivisions, rezoning and special use applications proposed within the west end of Montrose County and provides recommendations on each to the Planning Commission.

Southwestern Water Conservation District
One seat is available for the County's representative to the SWCD. Representative attends monthly district meetings to consider West End water rights issues. Representatives are typically West End Residents. Term is for three years expiring 1/1/2013.

Montrose County Citizens Advisory Committee
Five (5) seats are available on the Citizens Advisory Committee. Committee meets to consider citizen input for resolution to county issues as assigned by the Board and make recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners. Terms are for two years and expire 12/31/2011.

Nucla Naturita Cemetery District Board
One seat is available on the (West End) Nucla Naturita Cemetery District Board. The Board meets at a mutually agreed upon time and location on an “as needed” basis to keep the cemetery in good operation and well maintained. This is a full six year term expiring 12/31/2015.
