Campaign signs in hand, they waited on the sidewalk and crowded the Coffee Trader’s garden on Friday.

Cheers erupted as an RV rolled up to the business and Colorado Sen. Gail Schwartz stepped out, followed by U.S. Sen. Michael Bennet and Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar. A few seconds later, U.S. Sen. Mark Udall and Lt. Gov. Joe Garcia emerged, and made their way through well-wishers and throngs of bobbing signs reading “I am a 47%-er” and “Veterans and military families for Obama.”
