Montrose County fire ban in holding pattern

Posted: Tuesday, July 17, 2012 2:00 am

Montrose County remains under Stage II restrictions, Undersheriff Kevin Walters said on Monday.

Last week, a statewide fire ban was canceled, but Montrose County remained under Stage II restrictions. Walters began eyeing conditions locally, as Sheriff Rick Dunlap is on vacation.
