Medical Assistant The Telluride Regional Medical Center is seeking to hire a PRN Medical Assistant.Under general supervision of the Clinical Practice Manager and supervising provider, in the Primary Care Clinic, the Medical Assistant provides initial patient triage and assessment, assists with patient care, and performs specialized medical and laboratory procedures of a routine nature, as directed by established clinical guidelines.Assists with direct patient care procedures and related tasks such as: obtaining patient histories, taking vital signs, preparing charts, ensuring thorough documentation of lab and procedures, and assisting with medical examinations.The ideal candidate will have medical assistant or equivalent, clinical training and at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified, as well as current CPR certification.This position is hourly/non-exempt.
