As of Monday morning, Montrose Memorial Hospital was caring for 17 patients diagnosed with COVID-19. Eight patients were in the hospital’s med/surgical unit, six patients were in the ICU unit, one patient was in the Family Center and two patients were in the hospital’s acute rehabilitation unit.

Monday’s numbers are an increase from MMH’s last update, which came on Friday, Oct. 15. The hospital reported caring for 13 patients with COVID-19: Four patients were in the ICU, seven patients were in med/surgical and two patients were in the acute rehabilitation unit.

MMH Chief Marketing Officer Leann Tobin has noted previously that COVID-19 patient care numbers are subject to change on a daily basis.
