Robert “Adam” Reak passed away on Saturday night, Oct. 6, 2018, at his residence in Montrose County. The autopsy determining cause of death is pending. Adam was 35 and had lived in Montrose since 2012.
A celebration of life will be held Thursday, Oct. 18, at Crippin Chapel in Montrose at 3 p.m., followed by a reception in the Fireside Room at Remington’s at The Bridges.
Adam was born in Arizona, where he lived in the Chandler/Tempe area with his mother and siblings until his sophomore year, when they moved to Grand Junction and he graduated from high school. Adam worked as a server/assistant manager in the food service industry, including at Remington’s and Sushitini in Montrose. Adam was an avid reader, loved disk golf, enjoyed gaming and was a movie aficionado.
Adam is proceeded in death by grandparents John and Grace Reak; Bill Feely; and nephew Owen Daniel Reak. Adam is survived by grandparents Don and Darla Morris; Barbara Feely; mother, Beth Morris-Feely; stepfather, Eric Feely; father, Ronald Reak (Cathy); sister, Melissa Cornely (Jon); and brother, Jared Reak; along with many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and co-workers.
